JOSHUA HEALED IN MEDJUGORJE

http://www.medjugorjetoday.tv/4034/medjugorje-visit-cured-boy-from-cancer/ - TO READ ENTIRE STORY

For eight months, 2 years old Joshua battled a last stage cancer that brought him through a transplantation, 80 chemotherapy cures, and 17 radiotherapy sessions. When nothing worked, his parents took their son to Medjugorje. Back home, tests showed 19 tumors and all bone metastases to be gone as the beginning of Joshua’s now complete recovery.

Before he turned three years old, Joshua de Nicolo had experienced more hardships, drama, and obvious grace than many people do in an entire life.
The boy from Putignano in southern Italy was born with an un-discovered neuroblastoma, the most common form of infancy cancer, in February 2007. It took 22 months for Joshua’s true condition to be found in January 2009 when the illness had progressed to its last stage, 4D, where long-term survival rates are poor despite aggressive multimodal therapy.
Doctors gave Joshua only days or weeks to live when his parents took him to Medjugorje in June 2009. Just before departure, the boy’s white blood cell numbers dramatically improved, and Joshua immediately felt well in Medjugorje, his parents testify. Joshua felt even better after Mirjana Dragicevic-Soldo’s apparition on July 2nd 2009 when he was placed beside the visionary. After that, he seemed relieved from pain.

THE ENDING -One year after their first visit, the family returned to Medjugorje to give thanks. For Joshua, that meant one more unusual experience:

“After twelve months, we returned with a cured child” Elizabeth de Nicolo tells.
“There I saw Joshua lift up his eyes and smile. I knew something special was taking place. When I asked him why he smiled and looked at the sky and said “Have a peaceful and joyful Christmas”, he told me he was seeing the Madonna and beside her was Padre Pio who was smiling at him.”

MIRACLES IN OUR TIMES: EXOTIC DANCER TURNS TO MARY

MIRACLES IN OUR TIMES: EXOTIC DANCER TURNS TO MARY
AND LEADS HOLY LIFE OF MASS, ROSARY
The more we listen to our guardian angel or the Lord, the more they speak to us. That was discovered by a woman in Massachusetts who experienced a dramatic conversion from life as an exotic dancer to a promoter of the Rosary -- leaving us lessons along the way.
This is all according to the book, Full of Grace: Miraculous Stories of Healing and Conversion through Mary's Intercession, an anointed work by Christine Watkins that details a number of incredible life turn-arounds.
Druggies. Homeless. A New Ager.
And Angela.
Raised in a violent, broken home, Angela was ostensibly Greek Orthodox and had a Catholic mom, but they didn't practice their faith and she knew nothing about God, Jesus, or the Blessed Mother. By age age sixteen she'd had an abortion, and not too long after found herself earning a living as a stripper at a seedy nightclub.
That was when the tremendous change suddenly came upon her.
One June day as she was getting ready to head for work, "an unexplainable force or feeling," like a "wall," was put inside of her. At the very moment she felt the wall, her intuition told her, "God won't let me go to work today. God won't let me go to work today."
The feeling grew stronger the next day. "This time," said Angela, "I sensed God was telling me to quit." Remarkably, she did. Within days, she was no longer earning big money as a stripper. No one could figure her out. Soon after, she felt "told" to stop taking birth control pills and having premarital sex. "I don't know how I knew to stop, because I hadn't read or heard anything about it being wrong or that it could abort a baby," she reflects. But she listened, and more was spoken. She felt told to go to a church. She didn't know where, and ended up at an Assembly of God, where it was like the preacher was talking right to her ("If you need to be cleansed, come up to the altar," which she did).
Soon, she called her father (who had left the family for another woman). She felt compelled to forgive him. Despite what he'd done, she did -- and gave him a picture of the Blessed Mother! Forgiveness, she was "told," was important. The relief she felt was immeasurable.
At a Marian charismatic prayer session, she met a woman who told her about the Rosary and fasting each Wednesday and Friday. This was right after her conversion, but Angela did it immediately.
Her boyfriend didn't know what to think. She was dressing more conservatively. She was fasting. She was wearing medals. And now, no sex. "By this point," she told Watkins, "just three and a half weeks after my conversion, a love for Mary began to grow in my heart, and I started saying out loud, 'I love you, Mother Mary.' I bought four roses for her, two pink and two white, and put them in my room."
She obeyed God when He told her to sell her house, even though doing so seemed out of the blue, as well as improbable -- and it sold miraculously. She felt compelled to become a Catholic -- and the cardinal would give her special permission for early entry. She felt told to go to the reputed apparition site of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Hercegovina (the site under study by a Vatican commission). "I loved it there and didn't want to come home," she says. "Mary's sweet presence was everywhere, and I felt like I belonged. Wherever I went, people were praying the Rosary, and the whole town seemed to go to Mass. In Medjugorje, I felt that I should confess all the sins from my life."
Just three months after being a stripper, she was climbing a holy mountain in the rain and sleeping at the summit.
Upon return, she began teaching everyone she could to pray the Rosary.
After a Cursillo weekend, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
"About twenty minutes later, electricity suddenly began to run through my entire body," says her account in this splendid book. "Terrified, I thought I was being electrocuted; but at the same time, I sensed something supernatural might be happening. I kept my eyes closed, worried it would stop if I opened them. Loud ringing pounded my ears, and a strong jolt of electricity rattled my head. And then, with the eyes of my soul, I saw the outline of a figure appear at the foot of my bed. I couldn't make out any details, but I knew who it was -- a person very familiar to me. 'Mother Mary!' I cried out.
"Then electricity raced through me more powerfully, and in my head, I could hear a loud, vibrating sound, exactly like a tape rewinding." Images of people appeared.
She thought she was about to review her life.
"Then Mother Mary left, and in her place, standing at the foot of my bed, was Jesus.
"My soul recognized Him, although the details of His facial features were hidden. He extended His Hand before me -- a very large Hand that He placed right in front of my face and over my head.
"An extreme heat came from His Hand, and my face felt like it was on fire. This lasted a second, but it was so painful! I thought that if I looked in the mirror, my face would appear black and charred, so I didn't dare open my eyes, but allowed my face to continue burning, with the thought that I was being purified in order to grow more holy, like Jesus.
"Then behind Jesus, a large wooden Cross appeared and then vanished, three times in a row.
"After that, I didn't see or feel anything. I just lay in my bed with my eyes closed, hoping another vision would appear."
It didn't but she was left with an intense, urgent desire for the Eucharist -- which led to her pleading with the cardinal for quick entry into the Church. She became a Catholic the day after the Lourdes feast day. She now feels "free as a butterfly." She has the charism of joy. There is no more anger in her -- only love and peace. Her mother now attends Sunday Mass with her -- while her boyfriend goes with her every day! Her job now: she is a home health aide for the sick, elderly, and dying. She doesn't know what more God has in store with her but is open to whatever He wants. There is no more fear. "It's amazing to really feel faith and live it," she says. "Since my conversion, I walk out of the house and say, 'Ahhh, I have nothing to worry about. God is with me.'"

MEDJUGORJE MIRACLE - DAVID PARKES - 1989

MEDJUGORJE MIRACLE 1989 - DAVID PARKES - FULL STORY

David Parkes is not just another Irish singer. He's a man with a purpose.
Thirteen years ago, David Parkes stared death in the face. The victim of severe Crohn's Disease, he had undergone ten major bowel operations and the medical team working on his case had made it clear there was nothing more they could do for him.
Born in Dublin, the son of a successful band leader and trumpet player, and himself the winner of the National Talent Contest, David Parkes was intent instead on becoming a professional soccer player. With a voice described by one critic as "too good to be confined to these shores", David prepared for a move to America.
Out of work for months, David not only faced a hopeless future, but severe financial problems. The huge respect he commanded in Irish show business was, providentially, the means by which today David Parkes is well and healthy. A benefit night was organized attended by all the big show band names. David briefly sang and it was expected to be his last public appearance. Weighing 110 lbs, in constant pain and suffering he prepared to die.
Not overly interested in religion an invitation was issued to David and his wife, Anne to visit Medjugorje where alleged apparitions of the Blessed Virgin were reportedly taking place. David agreed to go see the country where he had spent his honeymoon in, considering it his last vacation.
Whilst in Medjugorje David very reluctantly attended a healing Mass being conducted by the renowned healing Priest, Fr. Peter Rookey. Literally, having to be pushed forward to receive the blessing he found himself within three seconds lying on the ground. There he remained for 20 minutes, waking up to find Senator Donie Cassidy looking down upon him. Within two days of the blessings David Parkes had begun to feel much better with far less physical symptoms. On his return to Ireland he showed no further symptoms of Crohn's disease and 13 years later he continues to be free of this deadly disease.
In November 1992 David released his first album in the United States "Let Me Live". The recording of this beautiful pro-life song was the fulfilment of a promise he had made while in Medjugorje in gratitude to God for the great healing, which had occurred.
David has sung to audiences of up to 30,000 people live when Mother Teresa requested he sing for her historic visit to Knock and he has been a guest on "Songs of Praise" the weekly BBC programme with viewers of up to 88 million worldwide.
Today, David's story is known internationally. His ministry has taken him throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Southeast Asia. David has become one of the most sought after speakers, and in particular, Master of Ceremonies, for Marian Conferences and retreats throughout North America. David has made guest appearances on EWTN, and has sung on the BBC weekly series "Songs of Praise", which was seen by over 88 million viewers worldwide.
At the present time, David Parkes is working in Medjugorje as Pilgrimage Director for Marian Pilgrimages which is based in Dublin, Ireland. David has been in Medjugorje since the last week of March, with the exception of the month of May when he travelled to North America to honor previously booked engagements in Toronto, and at Notre Dame in Indiana.
His duties in Medjugorje are varied. He is responsible for all aspects of the pilgrimage experience, including the general well being of the pilgrims and overseeing the spiritual programme. The pilgrimage season runs until November.

Medjugorje Miracle Story - Colm Cahill

A Medjugorje Miracle Story  --  by Kay Mule
After the February 2009 Peace Mass at St. Rita Church in Harahan, Louisiana, Colm Cahill, an 18-year-old from Jersey, England, gave remarkable testimony of his healing which can only be described as a gift from Our Lady.
It all began in 1998. While driving home with his dad in Jersey, they had quite a serious car crash. After it was over, he developed seizures. The first one was a week to the day after the crash. At first it was thought to be from the shock, but over the years they developed and got worse daily. By the time he was nine, it was to the point where he was barely conscious most of the time from the seizures and medication. He began to lose hope about what he could do with his life. At age 13 the doctors ran tests to make sure things were in order. They realized that the electrical activity from the seizures was damaging. The doctor told his family that his life would probably be over in a year.

He began to question God. What kind of God would allow this to happen? "Why me?" he asked. "Why did this happen? I had lost my hope in Jesus. I had lost all hope."

Then in May of 2004, the parish priest, Fr. Pere Glas who was a friend of the family came to his house. Colm was between seizures at the time. The priest asked him to chat with him in the garden. Colm managed to get up to go and have a conversation with him. "I wasn't sure what he wanted to talk to me about," Colm said. While he had a high regard for the priest as a family friend, he was not very interested in listening to him as a priest.
The priest told him about a place called Medjugorje. Since he had missed so much school, he did not know where Bosnia was. He told Colm that Medjugorje was a little village in Bosnia-Hercegovina where the Mother of God was appearing daily. "He told me about the apparitions and I learned that he wanted to go there and to pray for my complete healing," Colm said.

The priest told him, "I want you to pray when I tell you to pray and give this a last shot."
In his hopelessness, he found a sudden feeling of optimism. He wasn't really sure about this; however, he listened and said, "OK, I'll do it."

The priest, Fr. Pere Glas left on May 17, 2004, for one week. On the 21st of May, the priest sent Colm a text message that he would be praying with Ivan at an apparition on Apparition Hill that day at 10 o'clock Medjugorje time which was 4 o'clock Jersey time. "Now go to the back garden, find somewhere quiet and pray," the message said.
"I knew I had to do this. I trusted in what he said. When I got there to pray, I was still a little confused. I did not know how to do this. I had a small crucifix to put on the bench and lit some candles in front of it.
I took out a rosary and a book on how to pray the rosary and began to read it," Colm said.As it approached 4 o'clock, it was windy and there was a lot of distracting traffic noise from the main road. At 4 o' clock the wind died down and the loud noise from the busy main road stopped. It became absolutely still. He looked up to see what was happening, and saw that the candles extinguished themselves one at a time, from left to right. At this point he was absolutely petrified and thought about running inside.

"Then something happened at that moment which I have never experienced either before or since. It was an amazing experience of peace which I had never experienced," Colm said. "The constant migraine which had been part of my life and the constant pain in my muscles from the seizures just disappeared."
He did not know it at that time, but at that moment he was completely healed of everything. The next day he received a text of Our Lady's message. She had prayed for the sick people present and for the intentions for the sick of those present.

As the day went on, Colm realized that the headache that had been his constant companion was no longer there and there were no more seizures. That day turned into months and the months into years. Now five years later, he is still completely healed to the "Glory of God."
This shy young man with a rosary wrapped around his arm has been traveling to many places to give his testimony of the marvelous healing he received through the intercession of Our Lady. He does not know what the Lord has in mind for him in the future, but he is open to the whisper of the Holy Spirit. He came to Louisiana to visit with the youth who had spent time with him in Medjugorje last summer.
They all lived in Nancy and Patrick Latta's house during their stay in Medjugorje.

Medjugorje: Encounter with the Queen of Peace

Medjugorje is without doubt the most influential apparition of the twentieth century after Fatima. The parish records of St. James Catholic Church in Medjugorje show that over fifty thousand priests and religious—among them hundreds of bishops and cardinals—have come to Medjugorje, inspired by the presence of the Virgin. Second, other than Guadalupe, no other Marian apparition in history has been the direct cause of as many conversions as Medjugorje. Guadalupe brought about the conversion of eight million Aztecs. Medjugorje has now attracted over thirty million pilgrims, the vast majority of whom have had their lives transformed or touched by their encounter with the Queen of Peace (not to speak of the tens of millions of others who have never visited Medjugorje but have been third-party recipients of the graces mediated by the Virgin).

The significance of these two facts will be evident to anyone who has studied the Church's time-tested canons for the discernment of supernatural phenomena. The Church's great doctors of the spiritual and the mystical life have said for centuries that an authentic supernatural revelation will bear two marks: it will attract the religious and it will cause conversions. Satan posing as an angel of light can bring about many extraordinary signs and wonders, but the one thing he cannot and will not do is bring about a conversion.
Judged by these two criteria of an authentic supernatural revelation, Medjugorje has no parallel in Christian history beyond Guadalupe: it has attracted tens of thousands of priests and religious and it has caused hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of conversions (along with unprecedented levels of reception of the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist).

These two facts about Medjugorje no one can dispute since they have been so publicly chronicled. It is also to be noted that there are over a thousand documented cures attributed to Medjugorje. article continues...   http://www.motherofallpeoples.com/articles/marian-private-revelation/medjugorje-encounter-with-the-queen-of-peace.html
